About us

EV Autos was set up in 2008 following our travels in China, during which time we visited around 25 companies. We chose 4 companies from these 25, in order to bring you Electric Cars at affordable prices, which you may view here in our website showroom.

The Cars

Our website showcases a selection of cars and specifications to view, these range from 2 to 8 seater vehicles. When buying an electric car please look at the size of the motor vehicle which will be in KW (kilowatt) DC (direct crrent) or AC (alternating current) and choose the one more suitable to the area in which you live. Do not go by the CC (cubic capacity).

Suitability

If where you live is hilly then you will need a larger motor, for example, 3KW DC to a 5KW AC Motor. You will have to charge it more times a week than the smaller motors. All cars come with their own inboard charges and all that is needed is a standard 3 pin extension lead supplied.

Our Prices

All our prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling, and in the purchase price of your car, shipping costs, import taxes and VAT and delivery to your door. Unfortunately as we purchase and transport vehicles in US Dollars we are unable to quote prices on our website due to exchange rate fluctuations. However we shall be pleased to proviode current prices to you via email, which will be guaranteed for a period of 5 working days. Please simply complete our Price Quotation Enquiry Form. If you do not order within that period please re-apply for a new price.
